Tot Time

This program, beginning on Wednesday, October 16 at 9:30 a.m., offers parents the opportunity to ‘build community’ together while volunteers joyfully engage with the infants and toddlers. We also have a weekly storyteller. No charge to attend. To register please contact the church office.

The Annual Craft Sale is Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Church.

Sunday, October 20th is our next Used Book Sale. We are looking for gently used children’s picture books. If you have any that you would be willing to donate it would greatly appreciated.

On October 21st, Windsor Park United Church is providing lunch for 150 to 200 people at West Broadway Community Ministry. We are looking for donations of cookies, rice krispie squares and soft fruit such as banana. Chocolate chip cookies are always popular. If you are able to help, please email linda_2000@yahoo.com or call the church office. It would be helpful if you stated that quantity of food you are able to provide. Thank you.

A part of our Homecoming Service will be a Potluck Lunch on Sunday, November 3rd from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  Gloria and Doug Waldron are providing a cake. Your help will be required with setup, providing beverages and clean up. The expectation is that each attending family will provide something, be it a meat, potato/ rice/ pasta/ bread, soup, vegetable or dessert. You don’t have to provide for 100 – just 8 – 12 servings will ensure there is enough for everybody. Look for helping and attending signup sheets and take note of what others are bringing so we have a balanced diet. We will need to be cleaned up and out of the building by 2:00 p.m. at the latest.

Your Outreach Council needs clean (used) plastic bread bags to package the baked goods donated by Tim Horton’s for our Food Reclamation Project. Please leave the bags in the West Broadway bins in the front entrance.
