OUR MISSION
Windsor Park United Church seeks to be a welcoming community. A part of our Homecoming Service will be a Potluck Lunch on Sunday, November 3rd from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Gloria and Doug Waldron are providing a cake. Your help will be required with setup, providing beverages and clean up. The expectation is that each attending family will provide something, be it a meat, potato/ rice/ pasta/ bread, soup, vegetable or dessert. You don’t have to provide for 100 – just 8 – 12 servings will ensure there is enough for everybody. Look for helping and attending signup sheets and take note of what others are bringing so we have a balanced diet. We will need to be cleaned up and out of the building by 2:00 p.m. at the latest.
Last Sunday’s Used Book Sale saw a profit of $90.00 going to the Piano Fund. Thank you to all who stocked up their home libraries.

Craft Sale Thank You
Sincere thanks to Deanna and Len Kernaghan for their help in putting and picking up all the signs. To Deanna Kernaghan, Gwen Polak, Morris and Joyce Deveson, and Gordon Nazarko for helping set up the tables. To Gloria Saindon and Caitlin Trias a HUGE thank you for your help in taking down the tables and arranging the rooms back to how they were. To Gordon Nazarko for looking after the lift. To the UCW team who looked after the canteen and baked all the muffins. To Gwen Polak and Margo Baldwin for wiping down all the tables. To all the church members who came and supported the various crafters. This was a total team effort and we would not have had the success we did without everyone’s help. We already have 8 tables presold for the 2020 craft sale. Make sure you mark October 17, 2020 on your calendar for next year’s sale. This year’s craft sale proceeds were $587.00 going to the General Fund of Windsor Park United Church.
On behalf of the congregation, much appreciation is given to Jan Nazarko for all of her hard work on organization the sale. Thank you.
