Halifax Again
So, I have arrived in Halifax for another summer term of learning in community. It has been good to get reacquainted with people and renew friendships.
The work begins tomorrow morning as I start my Research Methods course and for the next 6 weeks I will be immersed in school and homework. I appreciate this time of study and learning, but I also know that being away helps me to appreciate what I have at home with my family and with my community of faith. What is that old saying? You don’t know what you’ve got till it is gone! Well these summers away help me to truly appreciate what I do have in my life, the support that is given to me and the love that I feel.
I will do my best to keep everyone updated on what I am doing and how school is going as the summer progresses and as I begin, and yes it will only begin here, to integrate what I am learning with what I believe and understand of our God.
Peace to you all,
Patrick
