About the Membership and Pastoral Care Council

We are the Council that cares for you.

We care that you are well, that you are fed, that you feel your membership in the United Church of Canada is important and that you are not alone when you need someone …

however, we can’t do this without the help of everyone in the church.

Please let us know when someone you know is not feeling well, is admitted to hospital, suffers a bereavement or job loss,  or is simply alone in their apartment with no outside connections etc…

We ask that you call the church office (204-256-8792) so that we can follow up with a phone call, card or visit.

We are currently looking for more members on our Council as well as drivers to pick up people and bring them to church.

If you are interested in becoming involved in the care of our church family, please call Judy Kuffner at (204) 256-9101 to volunteer.  Whether you like to talk on the phone, visit, write cards or drive – we have lots of small but meaningful jobs and whatever you choose to do will be very rewarding!
