Advent 2016 at Windsor Park United Church

As the days grow shorter we come to understand that our journey through 2016 is moving onward.

This means that we are coming to a time of the year when thoughts of holiday time with family and friends take centre stage.

This is also the time of year when we begin to anticipate the birth of a child. A child that comes into the world in a manger. This birth was heralded by the appearance of a star, shining in the night sky.

Join us this year, beginning on Sunday, November 27th at 10:30 a.m., as we embark on a journey to “Follow The Star.”

“With Hope,

we begin our Search,

wondering if we have the courage to Follow

and truly Believe,

so that we might come to Rejoice in the birth of Love Incarnate.”

Our Bible Adventures will be taking their own Advent journey this year as they also “Follow The Star” and take time to celebrate the Christmas story.   They will celebrate, and decorate and explore as only young ones can with games and activities based on that star that appeared in the sky.

So –  all young ones are welcome to join Bible Adventures for the own Advent journey – Sunday mornings beginning on November 27th at Windsor Park United Church!
