Everyone is encouraged to join us for an afternoon of food (yes, we will be ordering in pizza), fellowship, and visioning as we “Envisioning Windsor Park United Church’s Future.” Help us work towards our future as a community together on Sunday, May 5th, 2019, right after church. We will spend a couple of hours, from 1pm to 3pm, exploring who we are right now and who we want to become in the next few years. You have a voice in setting our future course, come and let your voice be heard. Please add your name to the sign-up sheet so we know how many to expect for lunch. We hope to see you there.
Spring Cleaning Your Closets?
YAH’s are holding another Frenchie’s Sale on Friday, May 10 from 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and are looking for women’s and girls’ clothing and accessories. Drop off will be Thursday, May 9 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Friday, May 10 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Re-Leaf Tree Planting Program
The Releaf Tree Planting Program is partnering with the City of Winnipeg to plant more trees. You must register before May 1st. Trees are $55.00 each. You get to go to a workshop on planting and caring for trees. There is a good variety to choose from. The Open Meeting of the UCW invite one and all to attend Monday, April 29, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. to hear The Honourable Janice Filmon, C.M., O.M., our 25th Lieutenant Governor, speak of her years of volunteer work. Feel free to bring a friend.
