Please join us to celebrate Pride Sunday on June 2nd at 10:30 a.m. Bob Galston will be leading us in worship.
The Annual Picnic is being held on Sunday, June 9th. Worship begins at 10:30 a.m. with the celebration of Communion. Food, fun, games will follow.
We would like to say a big think you to everyone who helped with making Country Blend such a success. To all the cookie bakers, serving crew, set up people, ticket sellers, clean up people, etc. We made a profit of $4,050.00. Thanks, CICC.
As the snow melts, so is the golf season creeping up on us. The Windsor Park United Church Golf Tournament is scheduled for Sunday, September 15 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. Friendly competitions are scheduled. Prices for the event (which include a delicious dinner) are Adults $30.00 dollars, Seniors (65+) $25.00, Youth (15 years and under) $25.00.
We are looking for donations of perennials to brighten up the WPUC flower beds. We are specifically looking for Columbine (Songbird Cardinal), Blue Monkshood, Karl Foerster Feather Reed Grass, Vernoica Hybrid (White Wand), and Asters (Blue Boy, Woods Pink, and/or Woods Light Blue). FRENCHIE’S SALE UPDATE…
What a fun time was had by all that gave of their time. We built frenchips (friendships) to last a lifetime. YAHs partnered with a Dragon Boat team raising money for CancerCare. Approximately $1,000 was raised and the leftover clothing and accessories went to women’s shelters. Thank you to all that donated clothing and helped with the set up, selling, and clean up.
