Mitten Tree Update January 2024-

The Mitten Tree

(chanted to the tune of The Muffin Man)

Oh, did you see the Mitten Tree,
the Mitten Tree, the Mitten Tree?

It had gloves and mitts galore,

For youngsters by the score.

Slippers and socks were everywhere,

All bundled up in pairs.

There were scarves and tuques of every hue,

Thank-you to everyone who contributed items to the Mitten Tree. The variety of sizes, styles, and colours made the tree a sight to behold throughout December. Some donors have been working on these hand-made treasures all year. Bravo!  Just before the colder weather arrived, all of the donations were gathered into 4 large bags. Everything was delivered to Rossbrook House and Splash Daycare for use by the children who access those facilities.
