Happy Chinese New Year today!
Here is the Announcement Sheet for this coming Sunday!
There is a Used Book Sale again this Sunday, in support of our piano’s dolly (I already scooped up a Garfield book for my kids :-). There is Praise Team practice after the service as well.
Monday, Feb 19th is Louis Riel Day, and the office will be closed. UCW Unit 5 will still be meeting at 1pm though.
Next Saturday (Feb 24th) is the Coldest Night of the Year walk for the WPUC Walkers – we are in third place for fundraising for this worthy cause! (RAY- Resource Assistance for Youth, a local non-profit that helps kids on the street) Help us meet and maybe even BEAT our goal! Thank you to those who already chipped in!
The Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper was a success and we raised about $161, which we will use to start up a Little Free Library here at the church! Interested in volunteering for this project?? Please contact Doug Waldron (dwaldronca@shaw.ca)
