“Our Third Burden”

Important announcement re: WPUC Viability

We are in need of volunteers to step up for key roles in 2 areas of the church. Without these key positions filled the church will not function. 

• We need a minimum of 3 volunteers for the Ministry and Personnel Committee. This committee oversees the paid staff of WPUC.  There is training available, and the process is easy to follow. *We cannot hire a minister without a functioning M & P Committee. 
• We also need a Chair of the Executive board (this can also be a shared position). This position will involve calling monthly meetings and overseeing the work of the executive board.

*Please Note:  Without these positions being filled, Prairie to Pine Regional Council steps in to take over at Windsor Park United Church and will determine if the church can stay open.  If we want the life and work of Windsor Park United Church to continue, these positions MUST be filled so that they can be appointed at the AGM at the end of April.  Please think about what you might be able to do, even in the short term, to allow the church to continue to move forward.
