Second Sunday in Lent 

Communion Sunday/”Our Second Burden”

A message from the Chair of the Executive Board of Windsor Park United Church, Gloria Saindon:

As many of you saw in the Blast this week, we are in need of volunteers to step up for key roles
in 2 key areas on committees. Without these key positions filled the church will not function. 

• The first is a minimum of 3 volunteers for Ministry and Personnel. This committee oversees the paid staff of WPUC. There is training available from Prairie to Pine regional office and all the information is available from forms and templates, making the process very easy to follow.
• The other position is for chair or chair sharing of the Executive board. This position will involve calling monthly meetings and overseeing the work of the executive board.
  Without these key positions being filled, Prairie to Pine steps in to take over.  It is very imperative in order for the work to continue at WPUC that these positions be filled and appointed at the AGM April 23, 2023.

*We have been having some trouble recently with emails from the church, so, if you have not been receiving emails such as the weekly e-blast and Patrick’s Mid-week devotions, you should check your Spam or Junk folders in your email.  Also, if you get emails that are from an unfamiliar address but say they are from Patrick, do not respond.  Both situations are being looked into and we hope that emails are back to normal soon!
